The company PRODUCTOS QP, S.A. was created on October 23, 1994, as a continuation of the companies QUIMICAMP, S.A.
(1952-1988) and DISMARK, S.A.-BP SPAIN (1988-1994). The founding partners and many of their employees worked in
those companies for many years.
During that year the multinational company BP OIL Spain, sold its subsidiary chemical company,
DISMARK, S.L. because they decided to focus on its main business: the oil. The DISMARK executives decided to do a very
unusual thing in the history of business: they bought the company in order to continue their 30-year professional work
and to guarantee the continuity of their workers.
Therefore, we can say that PRODUCTOS QP, S.A. is a continuation of QUIMICAMP S.A., which is
about to celebrate its 50th birthday as a trademark in the swimming pool's treatment chemical products market.
PRODUCTOS QP has its headquarters in Valencia, on the street Conde de Altea Number 58.
There are the company's General Management, and the departments of Administration, Finance, Marketing and
Commercial Management.
Our factory, with a land of 27,000 square meters- 8,000 of them are builded-, is in Utebo,
Zaragoza, in the Ctra. De Logro�o Km, 10,200; there are also the departments of Logistics, Invoice and Products
Orders.
Every year the factory processes about 2,500 Metric Tons of Trichlorine-cyanide acid and Calcium Hipochlorite
in its different sizes of 500, 100, 20 and 10 grams; having a superior capacity of about 50%. It also processes
about 1,500 TM of solid product and 2,100 Metric Tons of liquid product and its Logistic Department handles about
10,000 Metric Tons every year.
PRODUCTOS QP sells 90% of its production in Spain through a team of 12 salespeople that covers all the country's
provinces. The rest of the production goes to Europe and South America, where the market has positively grown in
the last couple of years.
Within Spain we have 2,764 distributors, most of them are professionals in the swimming pool area, through them we
make our products accessible to our clients (swimming pool owners, public swimming pool owners, sport clubs,
communities swimming pools, city halls, etc.)
PRODUCTOS QP, S.A. has 72 registered trademarks, all of them belonging to its most important product families:
QUIMICAMP swimming pools that has such legendary products as GARTENE PS, QUATEX PS. ALBORAL PS, FORTE PS, QUIMIFLOC PS,
PLUS ACID, PLUS BASIC, etc. Also, all the products under the trademark names of SWIM, QUAT, DOSACLOR, Q-200 and QP.
And it also has a line of products targeted to the industrial and consume hygiene, under the trademark name of QUIMICAMP
HIGIENE, and with products for the cattle breeding, the agro food industry, and for the water purification for the human
and small animals consume.
All of our products have the corresponding sanitary registration in the Public Health General Department of the Sanitary
and Consume Ministry.
Thanks to the quality of our products and for being pioneers in the swimming pools water treatment, we have received
important awards, for example:
